What weight and height is eXXite ideal for?
- The XXS is recommended for a height between 160 - 180cm
- The XS is recommended for a height between 175 - 200cm
- The maximum weight in both cases should not exceed more than 110kg (242 lbs) including the luggage.


What are the dimensions of the XS and XXS?
- The dimensions of the XS are: 1470 x 1180 x 590 mm; and when folded: 820 x 680 x 370 mm
- The dimensions of the XXS are: 1300 x 970 x 580 mm; and when folded: 780 x 580 x 420 mm


Which size of frame should I choose?


How fast can my eXXite drive?
Both eXXite XS and XXS features our Micro Hub motor with 250W and 35Nm, which will allow you to reach the legal maximum speed of 25 km/h (16 mph) of pedal assistance according to EN - 15194.


What are the main differences between the XS and XXS?
- The XXS is recommended for a height between 160 - 180cm whereas the XS is recommended for a height between 175 - 200cm.
- The wheel size of the XXS is 16”, and the XS is 20”. The smaller model's wheels allow a more compact folded shape for storage.
- Besides the motor, the XS includes a 7-speed Gear, while the XXS model comes with a single-speed rear hub.

Where can I find the serial number of my eXXite?
You will find the serial number of your eXXite on the front of the frame, right above the fork.

What should I do if I have any technical doubt?


What anti-theft or security measure offers my bike?
- With the EIVA 2.0 App, you will have access to the Lock Bike option. This feature blocks the motor of your eXXite preventing any use of the bike while activated (the bike must remain on). Know more about this feature here.
- With the Security Seat Clamp (see here how to install this accessory) the seat post / battery may be locked with its keys, preventing any unwanted extraction. Know more about this accessory here.
- With the MicroEIVA device, you will have access to the Password to unlock option. Set a password in the device and it will be asked each time you turn on the bike.

Can I ride with the battery discharged?
Yes. In the unlikely event that your eXXite runs out of battery, without access to charging it, you will still be able to ride it just like a traditional bike without assistance

What is the range of my battery?
It varies depending on the battery model. For XS and XXS, we have three options available:
*This is the theoretical value calculated with a fully charged eXXite XS on a flatground and using the Pedal Assist at a level 3 of assistance (mid power). The range can vary depending on the level of assistance, your pedal input and other factors including type of terrain, rider weight, tyre pressure etc.
- 36V-8Ah: Range of 40km (25mi) *
- 36V-10,5Ah: Range of 60km (37mi) *
- 36V-14Ah: Range of 100km (50mi)

How long does it take to charge the battery?
It varies depending on the battery model. For XS and XXS, we have three options available:

- 36V-8Ah: 4h *
- 36V-10,5Ah: 5h 15min *
- 36V-14Ah: 7h

When storing my eXXite, what do I need to do with the battery?
- When not using your eXXite for a medium period of time (one or two weeks), the battery must be disconnected from the bike. And it is recommended to keep it at a 40 / 60% level of charge.
- For longer periods of time (more than 3 weeks), the battery must be disconnected as well, and it is required to fully charge the battery at least once every 2 months.


How do I take care of my battery?
- Never expose your battery to a damp environment or soak into water, never short circuit the battery terminals, this damage is not covered under the Limited Warranty; Do not disassemble/punch battery pack. Do not place it on fire or drop from any height. Avoid contacting with other contacts; The capacity of the battery will decrease when °C < 0°C.
- When not using the battery for a long period, it must be disconnected from the bike and charged every 2 months.

Where can I get the EIVA 2.0 App?


Do I need to connect my eXXite with the EIVA 2.0 App?
Yes. Before the first ride it is needed to connect your e-bike to the EIVA 2.0 App and follow the setup process: 1. Log in to your account or create a new one and register your e-bike. 2. Apply a Reset Parameters to upload the latest data to your eXXite. Follow the tutorial here


Can I ride my eXXite without a smartphone?
After the first connection and set up of the bike, yes. Both XS and XXS come with the MicroEIVA display mounted on the handlebar, from which you can turn on and off the bike, and modify the key parameters of the EIVA system. Discover more about the MicroEIVA here


How do I connect my bike to the EIVA 2.0 App?
- Using bluetooth you can connect your eXXite with any device with EIVA 2.0 App installed. From the App go to Settings > Connections-Bluetooth > And select your e-bike's signal. In case you find any issue with the connecting process, check our manuals here
- Once configured and connected, the e-bike can be used without having the EIVA App active.


Can I connect my eXXite with any version of EIVA App?
No, eXXite bikes only work with the EIVA 2.0 system. Any other previous version will not detect your bike.


Can I use RegenFit without a smartphone?
No. The access to the RegenFit mode is only from the EIVA 2.0 App. It is needed a compatible device with EIVA 2.0 App installed. Go to Settings > RFit


Can I attach my phone to the handlebar?
Yes. You may use any certified phone holder for bikes on the handlebar of your eXXite XS or XXS. For now we do not have any available phone carrier for the eXXite bikes. The EIVA Carrier from Rayvolt is not compatible with these models.

Can I add accessories to my eXXite?
Yes, check here our Accessories page to know which accessories we have and what are the compatibilities.


Do XS and XXS include mudguards?
Yes. Both models have compatible mudguards. They are included in the bike but it is required installation, see in the Assembly video how to install the mudguards here.


How to install my Rear Rack?
Follow the same process for eXXite XS and XXS. Place the Rear Rack over the rear wheel, remove the 2 lower rear mudguard screws, then lock the rack with the two screws on the controller box and the same two from the mudguard on the back.


How to install my Security Seat Clamp?
Follow the same process for eXXite XS and XXS. First remove the saddle post, keep the current clamp opened to ease the extraction, and pull upwards to remove it. Place now the Security Seat Clamp instead. Make sure to push it all the way down into the frame. Now open it with the keys to place the saddle post back.


Can I use my Rayvolt accessories on my eXXite?
- All Rayvolt saddles are compatible with the eXXite models.
- The Rear Panniers can be installed on the eXXite XS Rear Rack only.
- The Rayvolt Copper bell is compatible with both XS and XXS models.
- The Rayvolt Front Pouch is compatible with both XS and XXS models.


Can I use a child seat on my eXXite?
We do not recommend fitting a child seat to the XS or XXS models.

REGENFIT


Can I use RegenFit without a smartphone?
No. The access to the RegenFit mode is only from the EIVA 2.0 App. It is needed a compatible device with EIVA 2.0 App installed. Go to Settings > RFit.


Can I use any stand for the RegenFit mode?
- We are developing a new stand that will match with the eXXite XS and XXS that will be soon presented.
- To date, there are no commercial stands for bikes that are compatible with the eXXite XS and XXS rear wheel. However, under your own responsibility, the RegenFit mode can be used with any system that keeps the rear wheel from the floor.


Can I use the RegenFit with my battery fully charged?
No. The RegenFit mode can only be used with a non full charged ebike, as it will keep charging your battery during the training. Once you reach 100% of the battery, the training must stop. Otherwise, it will harm the life of your battery.
